In this short video, Bob Randall, a Yankunytjatjara elder, explains that all beings are part of a vast family. He encourages us to care for the land and all living beings with unconditional love and responsibility.
“Action on behalf of life transforms. Because the relationship between
self and the world is reciprocal, it is not a question of first
getting enlightened or saved and then acting.
As we work to heal the earth, the earth heals us.”
~Robin Wall Kimmerer
Love your Mama.
Love her up every day.
“We have to shift our attitude of ownership of nature
to relationship with nature. The moment you change
from ownership to relationship,
you create a sense of the sacred.”

When we listen and take in the astonishingly sensuous earth, we come awake to the thunderous beauty that surrounds us. We are literally inundated with the world pouring through every opening and in this awareness, we recognize a fundamental truth: we are of the earth.
In fact, as cosmologist Brian Swimme suggests, humans were put on earth to gawk. That is our cosmological destiny! To be astonished, amazed, delighted in the intricate weavings of the cosmos is to listen fully and to send out our sigh of appreciation is what is asked in return.

“The stars are like letters that inscribe themselves at every moment in the sky. Everything in the world is full of signs. All events are coordinated. All things depend on each other. Everything breathes together.”
~Plotinus, 205-270 CE
